Cornerstone Youth Group is having a Youth Lock-in in His Place at Cornerstone from 7 PM on August 17th to 7 AM on the 18th.  It is open to all youth in 5th-12th grade.  It is an opportunity for youth to build community with each other as well as playing games, watching movies, winning prizes, eating great food and much more!  Come in your pajamas, bring blankets and be ready for a great time!

In order to make this event a success Youth Ministries is in need of volunteers for the event and some gift cards for prizes and monetary donations.  If you can help, please click the signup genius link below.

Questions about this event can be directed to Felicia Johnson, Jenise Clemons or Emily Lombard (our Youth Interns).

Youth Missions

A big part of youth ministries at Cornerstone are youth missions trips each year. Of course due to COVID we might not be able to serve a specific community. However, please contact Felicia Johnson if you have any questions.

Our Middle School Youth mission focus during this time is our Blessing Box on our church property providing non-perishable food and toiletries to people in need in our community.  We welcome the community to donate directly to our Blessing Box at any time and anyone in need in our community is welcome to partake of the resources offered.

Our high schoolers will be hoping to serve a location as soon as it is safe to do so.  Our middle school youth usually serve in the summer and hope to return to serving a community this summer as well.

Special Youth Events

Beyond Sundays and Wednesdays our youth ministries offer several special events throughout the year, including:

  • A four day Youth Winter Camp at Leavenworth over Midwinter Break
  • Summer Youth Backpacking Trips for High Schoolers and Graduates
  • Summer Church Camp at Lazy F near Ellensburg
  • Service projects like feeding homeless in Seattle or caring for kids at Vacation Bible School
  • A full Thanksgiving meal for youth of all ages during our Friendsgiving event in November.
  • Youth Christmas celebrations in Advent
