Capital Campaign Mortgage Update

We thank you for your continued financial support towards paying down the loan for the Capital Campaign.  With your continued support we could have the mortgage paid in full by August 2022!!  It is because of your generous support that all this is possible.  God is good!

Cornerstone Finance team is in need of volunteers to fill some important positions in the life of our church.  See the attached document.

Ways to Give at Cornerstone – Our Blessing Box

During these difficult times we are seeing more and more activity at the Blessing Box in our parking lot.  On a daily basis people are donating to the box and taking items as needed.  If you would like to donate you can add things directly to the box or make financial donations to the church and memo them “Blessing Box?  We are SO grateful for your continued generosity.

Cornerstone’s Education Assistance Program

Cornerstone members have a history of financially supporting our staff who have decided to go into seminary. Recently SPR has updated and ratified a new Education Assistance Program (EAP) policy that outlines disbursement of funds collected to qualifying staff who are interested in continuing education that ultimately benefits their work at Cornerstone, the greater UMC, or the Christian community in general. The EAP is not funded from general offerings nor is part of the church budget, but is a wholly separate designated account that you can donate into to support our staff. The new policy and procedures ensures fair allocation of funds available and potentially allows for donations to be tax exempt. If you would like more information, contact SPR Chair Jaymes Toycen at
