Happy March! It doesn't seem like it should be March, and yet time marches ever forward. The recent snow and cold weather make it feel like winter is still here to stay for a while, and yet seedlings are popping forth from the earth, reminding us that we are moving towards a new season.
We are in the season of Lent. As we walk through these 40 days of Lent together, I want to encourage you to allow our little devotional book to enrich each day. Cold hands and feet are a great reason to wrap up in a warm blanket and spend a few minutes reading the words in our devotional book. Each entry is short and meaningful. If your hands and feet don't get cold like mine, then any time you have about 3 minutes is a good time to enjoy it. It will likely take you 1 minute to read, but the next 2 are for you to enjoy what has been said and allow it bless you.
Join me in drawing closer to Jesus during this Lenten season. It is meant to be a season of getting to know Him better, getting rid of what you don't need, taking on what strengthens and equips you, experiencing His comfort and healing, and rejoicing in your salvation.
May this Lent be all you need it to be as your journey with Christ as a part of Cornerstone.
With love,
Pastor Comer
p.s. If you need a copy of the devotional, you can pick one up from the church, or you can download it if you use Kindle, etc. Happy reading.
