In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recommendations of both state and church officials, Sunday Services suspended until end of April. That includes corporate worship, Children’s Church and Club 56. We encourage you to continue reading your Lenten Devotional and spend some time this week in a personal time of worship and prayer. Sign up at the bottom of this page to our Cornerstone Newsletter to find out other ways to stay connected at Cornerstone.
Services have been suspended following recommendations by state officials and our Bishop. Keep up with the latest message in our Lenten series, “Learning from Jesus” You can follow along with all our messages on our Youtube Channel at
Our church is dependent on your tithes and offerings to support the ministries of the church and to serve our community. In this time when we are not meeting corporately you can still give to your church by mailing a check to the church, or by giving online. Here is the link to our giving page. Thank you for your love and support.

The Youth Missions Auction has been postponed indefinitely! Due to restrictions around meeting, we had to postpone our Youth Missions Auction. We still rely on this event to fund our middle school mission trip and youth intern program, plus we are hopeful to create opportunities for service for our high schoolers this summer. This event is so vital to youth ministries at Cornerstone and we look forward to the day when we will be able to gather together for this fun evening. Thus, we are still hopeful to use items that have already been donated once we are able to have the auction. We hope all our donors will be okay with still offering their items at a later date, but understand if this does not work. If you have have any questions, please contact Pastor Ashley at email@example.com Thank you so much for all your hard work on procuring items for this event, inviting friends and ultimately supporting Youth Ministries at Cornerstone!! We will keep you updated when a new date for the Auction has been selected.
When restrictions on meeting lift The Tuesday Morning Bible Study Group will to start a new study called Trustworthy, a study of the books of 1st and 2nd Kings. If you would be interested in joining them there is a signup sheet on the foyer table or email Suzie Fowler. ZUZLE10@gmail.com

Dear Church Family,
Thank you for your prayers during Pre-Departure Orientation in Kansas City. I had an amazing time learning from experienced missionaries as they prepared us “young ones” to go off into the field. With a 7am-7pm lecture schedule, I have more information in my brain than I know what to do with! I am happy to say not a single second of it was a waste. Below is a quick financial update as well as some information regarding the Coronavirus. Please feel free to reach out with any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org

There has been concern over me going to Japan and questions about what that might look like due to the Coronavirus, even more so now since there just recently have been cases in our own backyard. I want to say thank you for your loving concern for me and reassure everyone that TEAM is taking the Coronavirus seriously. They have a team in place to watch and assess the progress of the virus with on the ground personnel comprised of medical staff and leadership. This team is keeping all ministry areas, including Japan, informed about the virus. As of right now, it is still safe for me to travel to Japan. Should it ever become unsafe, TEAM will let me know. Again, I thank you for your concern for me. Let us not live in fear, but pray to our good God for the healing and restoration for our entire world!
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
