Welcome to Cornerstone

Cornerstone United Methodist Church is a community of believers dedicated to building our lives upon the Good News of Jesus Christ!  The life of God, wrapped in the flesh of humanity, who out of love for this world and its people was born as an infant, lived among us, taught and embraced us, suffered and died for us upon the Cross, rose from the grave, living and reigning today throughout all creation – and in our hearts!

Thank you for visiting our website.  We would love to connect with you.  Consider scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page and signing up for our monthly newsletter.  We look forward to connecting with you.

Our Current Sermon Series

Upcoming Sermon Messages:

October is a great month for worshipping together! We continue our series, Messages from the Wilderness, and we walk through stories of the Israelites wilderness wanderings together. The story of the Israelites in the wilderness is rich with examples of God’s provision, but it also is convicting, calling us into deeper acts of trust and hope.  We are very excited to be welcoming various preachers from our congregation during our Wilderness series. Unless otherwise noted, our services will be available virtually on our YouTube channel and premiered at 10 AM on Sundays on our YouTube channel. Don’t forget that on these Sundays we gather together on Zoom for fellowship and prayer at 11:30 AM. Also, please notice that the first Sunday of every month is our Zoom Sunday, which is a service for the whole family to participate in, including singing, prayer, testimony, and communion. Be sure to have your own communion elements (bread and juice/wine) on hand at home for the first Sunday of every month.

Here is our October schedule:

  • 10/4 – Testimonies from the Wilderness – Service at 10 AM on Zoom with Communion
  • 10/11 – Worship in the Wilderness (Ex. 15:1-20) – Pastor Ashley
  • 10/18 – Water from the Rock (Ex. 17:1-7) – Pastor Jerry
  • 10/25 – Expanding the Task (Ex. 18:13-27) – Carl Dodd
  • 11/1 – Testimonies from the Wilderness – Service at 10 AM on Zoom with Communion
